Lauren Smith is a Joel Belz Fellow at World Magazine. A Summer 2025 College Fix fellow, she worked at Post Hill Press. She is the author of four young adult novels, most recently including Warsafe (Enclave Publishing, 2025). Her work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Independent Review, the Air Force Museum Friends journal, and local news outlets. She graduated from Hillsdale College with an economics degree and a journalism minor.
