Kent State, not exactly a baseball powerhouse, has knocked off the No. 1 Florida Gators–the team favored to win the college baseball World Series this year. It was a one run nail biter in the ninth that saw Florida come up just short–ending the game on a fly out with the bases loaded.
As a native Floridian, let the record show that I do not favor this outcome.
