Nashville’s #Occupy rally Thursday took place across the street from Vanderbilt University, and brought out about 170 people — including Vandy mathematics professor Eric Schechter.
Schechter had some thoughts (jump ahead to 2:40 on the video):
I’m actually probably more radical than some of the people here. I’d like to see an end to private property.
Schechter ran for Congress in 2010 against Rep. Jim Cooper (he lost in the primary), and blogs periodically here.
